FIVE out of nine survivors of the dreaded Ebola Virus Diseases, EVD, yesterday, met with Lagos State governor, Babatunde Fashola, and some members of the State’s Executive Council, SEC, where they recounted their experiences. They include Dennis Akagha, husband of late Justina, a nurse at First Consultant Hospital, Dr Fadipe Akinniyi, Dr. Ibeawuchi Morris, Dr. Adaowa Igowoh and Kelechi Enemuo, wife of late Dr. Iyke Samuel Enemuo, who died of EVD in Port Harcourt. NIGERIAN soldiers, on Wednesday, proved their ability to contain the insurgency in the North East when they moved against the Boko Haram sect, killing about 60 of their members during repeated attempts to enter Konduga, about 70 kilometres to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital. Circuit Court Orders Arrest of a Former  ordered the arrest of Hammat Montia, the Winner of the 2006 Miss Malaika Beauty Pageant for failing to appear.Ms Montia, who is a business woman has been charged with stealing. She has been accused of stealing an unregistered  Highlander Toyota 2008 model belonging to a Versa Keskinen, a Finnish national.The matter was called upon the court, but Ms Montia was not in court.  The Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) C. There are at least nine inmates dead and 22 injured after Tuesday nights brawl among prisoners in Luanda Central Prison (CCL) . According to a spokesman for the Prison Service, three of the 22 injured were in serious condition. The two of the prisoners had received treatment in the  Neves Bendinha hospital and another prisoner had been transferred to theCentralMilitaryHospital.
